The location of the hotel is very convenient, right next to
Calais centre and within easy reach of the ferry port. The room was spacious and clean, and it was especially nice to have tea and coffee facilities. Some areas of the hotel feel a bit worn and could use refreshing.

Popular hotel in a magnificent location to garden for dog, the services were very good. The staff were all efficient and the breakfast was above average and plentiful with the fruit salad and cheese, for example.

Staff were friendly, room very basic but bed was comfortable.Food at the restaurant was good but a little pricey.
Rooms very small .Tea and coffee facilities were poor - enough for 1 cup each in a disposable cup. Not enough milk. No hair dryer.

Packed with surprises, Good and Bad
Receptionist was helpful and friendly! Plus, the secure car park is a huge bonus for peace of mind and ease of access!
Sadly, room amenities are lacking! I found the TV remote was malfunctioning, and the bathroom really needs a deep clean to feel more cute.

Very friendly staff..Restaurant was clean, bright and the service was good. Secure parking. We had two dogs with us which was no problem to the hotel.Very comfortable bed.
The room needed a bit of tidying up, the paint was peeling off the skirting in the bedroom and there was no hairdryer.

The lady manager was most helpful and also was clearly very good at her job. She was also well informed about the wine list.

Efficient and friendly. Room and bathroom more than adequate. Excellent restaurant. Convenient for ferries, Eurotunnel and Cite Europe but only a 10 minutes stroll from the town centre.
The hotel has been "smartened up" and the restaurant rebranded. Prices have been increased to match! Still good value but I liked it the way it was!
